Absolutely lovely pub. Very clean and well kept. Definitely be going there again. Seemed to attract a lot of walkers looking for a drink.
I was here for a family meal. Some of us were disappointed with the meals. The food was good but grossly overpriced. For the price of the food you would expect fresh food. The chips were frozen, the pie I had was supposed to have Derbyshire Blue cheese in it, I couldn't taste any cheese. On the upside the staff were friendly and welcoming and the service was good.
First time in since change of hands. Service was quick for a 9 party and food hot and delicious . Staff were friendly and very helpful nothing too much trouble for him. I had the cajon chicken burger, was just spicy enough. Portions are big. The bean chilly was very nice too I believe. Much better atmosphere and will be visiting again ,well,as soon as I've worked Christmas, new year and my daughters birthday meals off .
Very friendly and welcoming member of staff. Very quick service and food was delicious. Would definitely recommend and go here again :).
